I am a Valley Girl from Southern California and I joined the United States Air Force right out of high school. While serving, I met my husband and we had our first child at Travis AFB. After the leaving the military, I became an educator and worked in special education. My daughter was born a few weeks before the COVID-19 shutdown, and then everything changed. Home, career, wardrobe, everything! And that is about when I decided to make Fit4Mom Vacaville my new mission.

I LOVE FIT4MOM! I first discovered Fit4Mom after my son was born, and during a tough period in my lifetime. I was struggling as a new Mama and my mother had just passed away from colon cancer. My mother was a very special lady, and losing her was overwhelming. It was during this dark time when my wonderful sister dragged me, and my baby boy, to our first Stroller Strides class. With Mamas from all over the community, I was overjoyed to stretch, move, sing songs, and share stories. No surprise, I joined the group right away, and began seeing and feeling the positive impacts on my physical and emotional health immediately.

And now it’s time to “pay-it-forward.” I am proud to bring Fit4Mom back to Vacaville and I hope to support women in my community in the same way. Fit4Mom Vacaville here to build a healthy community of Mamas, deliver fun-family-fitness options, and empower Mamas to be strong and confident in their most important work.
